Isolde Venrooy nodigt je uit om anders naar de omgeving te kijken. Tijdens een ‘symbolische’ wandeling ontdek je nieuwe perspectieven over de aarde, bodem en lichamen. Wandel mee om meer te leren over waaruit de dingen om ons heen én wijzelf zijn samengesteld.
Ons eigen lichaam is het kader vanuit waar we naar de wereld kijken. Vaak nemen we dat kader als vanzelfsprekend, alsof ons lichaam een op zichzelf staand wezen is. Isolde Venrooy wil duidelijk maken dat alles om ons heen, ook ons eigen lichaam, bestaat uit kleinere en grotere onderdelen: microben, waartussen kleine gaatjes bestaan. Vanuit dit nieuwe perspectief dat erkent dat alles een samenstelling is, kunnen we de omgeving op een nieuwe manier ontdekken. Deze wandeling daagt je uit om jouw interpretatie van de wereld open te stellen en te reflecteren op zowel de gaten in de materie om ons heen, alsook in ons eigen perspectief.

[EN] Isolde Venrooy invites you to look at the environment differently. During a ‘symbolic’ walk you will discover new perspectives about the earth, soil and bodies. Walk along to learn more about what things around us and ourselves are composed of.
Our own body is the frame from which we look at the world. Often we take that framework for granted, as if our body is a self-contained being. Isolde Venrooy wants to make it clear that everything around us, including our own body, is composed of smaller and larger parts: microbes, between which tiny holes exist. From this new perspective that recognizes that everything is a composition, we can discover the environment in a new way. This walk challenges you to open up your interpretation of the world and reflect on both the holes in matter around us, as well as in our own perspective.
