Talk&Walk is een serie ontmoetingen met de kunstenaars die werkzaam zijn bij Greylight Projects. Tijdens de Talk&Walk sessies vertellen de kunstenaars over werk en hun project in Heerlen.

Voor de komende TALK&WALK neemt Floor Snel je mee in hun zoektocht naar relaties met hun niet menselijke omgeving. Floor Snels en Noor Boiten laten je op verschillende manieren kennis maken met insecten door middel van hun onderzoek en werk. Ze stellen met hun werk vragen over symbiotische relaties met niet-menselijke entiteiten nodigen het publiek uit om na te denken over of het eigenlijk wel mogelijk is om een niet-menselijke stem te geven aan insecten, en welke machtsstructuren er bestaan in de relaties met hen. Tijdens deze Talk&Walk neemt Snel het publiek mee in hun  online speurtocht naar hoe ons perspectief op insecten zich door de tijd ontwikkelt.

Aansluitend de Talk&Walk is er een begeleide atelier bezoek aan de ateliers van de kunstenaars Carole Louis en Ali Glover welke de huidige gastkunstenaars zijn en sinds begin april bij Greylight Projects in Heerlen wonen en werken. [EN] Talk&Walk is a series of meetings with the artists working at Greylight Projects. During the Talk&Walk sessions, the artists talk about work and their project in Heerlen.

For the upcoming TALK&WALK, Floor Snel will take you on a journey to explore relationships with our non-human environment. Floor Snels and Noor Boiten introduce you to insects in various ways through their research and work. They use their work to ask questions about symbiotic relationships with non-human entities and invite the audience to consider whether it is possible to give a non-human voice to insects and what power structures exist in our relationships with them. During this Talk&Walk, Snel will guide the audience through their online exploration of how our perspective on insects has evolved over time.

Following the Talk&Walk, there will be a guided studio visit to the studios of artists Carole Louis and Ali Glover, who are the current guest artists and have been living and working at Greylight Projects in Heerlen since early April.
