Op zaterdag 29 november openen Heimprofi (Krista Burger) en Marcus Kaiser hun ateliers en nodigen het publiek uit om het werk te ontdekken dat zij tijdens hun drie maanden durende residentie bij Greylight Projects in Heerlen hebben ontwikkeld.
Beide kunstenaars delen inzichten in hun onderzoek, werkprocessen en experimenten die hun tijd hier hebben gevormd. Bezoekers zijn welkom om door de ateliers te wandelen, in gesprek te gaan en nieuwe werken te ervaren die de unieke richtingen van elk van de kunstenaars tijdens hun verblijf weerspiegelen.

De open studios vallen samen met de opening van de tentoonstelling Supporting Acts — een tentoonstelling die onderzoekt hoe kunst nooit op zichzelf staat, maar wordt gevormd, mogelijk gemaakt en zichtbaar gemaakt door een netwerk van relaties, inspanningen en omstandigheden. Supporting Acts brengt artistieke praktijken samen die nadruk leggen op samenwerking, zorg, infrastructuren en de vaak onzichtbare handelingen die het ontstaan van kunst ondersteunen. Samen bieden de open studios en de tentoonstelling een gelaagde inkijk in artistieke processen, contexten en de gedeelde dynamieken die kunstproductie mogelijk maken.
[EN] On Saturday, 29th of November, Heimprofi (Krista Burger) and Marcus Kaiser open their studios and welcome the public to explore the work they have developed during their three-month residency at Greylight Projects in Heerlen.
Both artists will share insights into their research, working processes, and the experiments that shaped their time here. Visitors are invited to walk through the studios, engage in conversation, and experience new works that reflect the unique directions each artist pursued during their stay.

The open studios coincide with the opening of the exhibition Supporting Acts — an exhibition that explores how artistic work never stands alone, but is shaped, enabled, and made visible through a network of relationships, efforts, and conditions. Supporting Acts brings together artistic practices that foreground collaboration, care, infrastructures, and the often unseen gestures that support the emergence of art.
