Visit Arthur Cordier’s studio at Greylight Projects and discover the work he has done during his residency in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion.
On Saturday 27 of November from 13h till 18h, the platform for art and culture GREYLIGHT PROJECTS is opening its door to the public.
Arthur’s practice tackles the aesthetics of bureaucracy, entrepreneurship, and efficiency through relational, situational and context-specific works. They often self-reflect upon artistic practice and the entangled economies of art in a production-driven society. In addition to his practice he co-initiates the studio & project space The Balcony, The Hague (NL), and contributes as guest curator to Art au Centre Liège (BE).
The Belgium artist Arthur Cordier is in residency in Greylight Projects since September 2021. His artist residency “Where are we now?” is a collaboration between Greylight Projects (Heerlen, NL) and IKOB – Museum of Contemporary Art and it is as part of the Very Contemporary (network of contemporary venues) artist project 2021. The residency program invites the artist to offer a new perspective on the particularities of the Euregio-Meuse-Rhine, responding to the distances, landscapes or borders between the two institutions.
