Greylight Projects biedt een jaarlijks programma van exposities, residenties en projecten op locatie. Voor 2024 bieden wij een tijdelijk Atelier in de Stad aan, bedoeld voor een werkperiode van ongeveer drie maanden. De periode start met een introductie van de kunstenaar en wordt afgesloten met een presentatie van het werk. Het atelier is gevestigd in het Maankwartier, naast het NS-station Heerlen.
Wie zoeken wij?
Kunstenaar(s) die zich op een onderzoekende manier tot hun omgeving verhouden, interesse hebben in werken op een nieuwe plek en hun werk willen delen met anderen.
Wat bieden wij?
– Een werkruimte in het Maankwartier
– Regelmatige ondersteunings- en reflectiegesprekken met een teamlid van Greylight Projects of een externe adviseur
– Materiaalbijdrage tot €500,-

Call for Artists: Atelier in the City – Greylight Projects
Are you an artist living or working in Heerlen, Parkstad, South Limburg, or the Euregio? Would you like to temporarily work in the Atelier in the Stad?
Greylight Projects offers an annual program of exhibitions, residencies, and site-specific projects. For 2024, we are offering a temporary Atelier in the Stad for a working period of approximately three months. The residency begins with an introduction of the artist and concludes with a presentation of their work. The atelier is located in the Maankwartier, next to Heerlen NS Station.
Who are we looking for?
Artists whose practice engages with their surroundings in an investigative way, who are interested in working in a new environment, and who want to share their work with others.
What we offer:
– A dedicated studio space in the Maankwartier
– Regular support and reflection meetings with a Greylight Projects team member or an external advisor
– Materialbudget contribution up to €500,-
Selection:
Applications will be reviewed by the Greylight Projects team, possibly with the advice of external advisors.
