Nouveau Grand Tour NL – Call for Applications 2026
The Nouveau Grand Tour NL is a residency program coordinated by the Institut français NL, inviting 10 recently graduated artists, designers, and curators from French art and design schools to undertake a 3 month research, creation, and experimentation residency in the Netherlands. In collaboration with eight Dutch residency organizations, the program supports emerging artists in developing a project connected to the Netherlands while expanding their professional network across Dutch visual arts, digital arts, sound art, and curatorial practices.

Program Overview:

Supports emerging artists in developing their practice in a Dutch urban or rural context.

Offers tailored professional guidance to help participants connect with the Dutch cultural landscape.

Includes a public presentation day for participating artists to share their work and engage with local networks.
Disciplines: Visual arts, digital arts, sound arts, and curatorial practices. Transdisciplinary and collaborative approaches are encouraged through concurrent residencies with Dutch and international artists.
